Tax rules, incentives, utility rates, tariffs, and provider programs can change and may depend on facts we do not know. My Solar Guy does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. Consult the relevant utility, provider, government source, and qualified professional before relying on those matters.
Business role and compensation
My Solar Guy is the homeowner-facing brand of The Sol Seekers LLC, a solar advisory and sales service—not a utility. Reviews are free. If you choose a system through a provider we represent, that provider may pay us a commission. We do not represent every solar provider.
The written proposal and contract identify the licensed contractor, system owner or financing provider, installation scope, warranties, and service responsibilities. Do not treat a website photo, general description, or preliminary discussion as a substitute for those documents.
Uploads and permission
You confirm that you have the right to send any bill, proposal, image, or document you upload. You may redact account numbers, barcodes, and unrelated personal information. We will not forward an upload to a contractor or financing provider unless you later give permission.
No misuse
Do not interfere with the site, submit unlawful material, impersonate someone, probe for vulnerabilities, or use automated systems to overwhelm forms or services.
Third-party content
The site may link to government, utility, YouTube, installer, financing, or other third-party resources. Those services control their own content and practices. A link does not make their statement a promise by My Solar Guy.
